Replacing a submersible pump at the fifth station to enhance irrigation of 180 hectares in Mi'ar and Yahmur
The technical staff at the Directorate of Water Resources in Tartous have finished replacing the pump in the fifth well at the fifth station in the Yahmour plain. The new pump is 40 horsepower and 5 inches in size for the fifth well, helping to irrigate about 180 hectares of farmland in the Mi'ar and Yahmour areas.
These works are part of the directorate's plan to maintain the efficiency of the irrigation system and keep pumping stations ready, to ensure continuous water supply to the farmland and support agricultural production.
