Repairing the main gate and resuming water pumping to irrigate the plains of southern rural Aleppo

The Aleppo Water Resources Directorate, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), completed the repair of the main gate (ML2) in the Southern Aleppo Countryside Plains project, which helped resume water pumping to irrigate an

area of three thousand hectares.

These works are part of efforts to enhance the sustainability of irrigation projects, support the agricultural sector, and improve water resource management to benefit farmers in the area.
