Repairing the GRP line feeding the PL2.2.3.5 line in the Southern Aleppo Plains irrigation project

Maintenance workshops carried out repairs on the 400 mm GRP pipeline feeding the PL2.2.3.5 line, which supplies water to about 100 hectares out of a 3000-hectare section in the Southern Aleppo Plains irrigation project.

The repairs came after a break was detected in the vacuum riser during the wheat harvest period, with the fault noticed while pumping water towards the Hader – Zaytan area. It was fixed and the pipeline was restored to service to ensure continuous water supply to the benefiting farmland.
