Fixing a Main Line Fault in Al-Jamasa to Boost Irrigation for 400 Hectares

The teams from the Directorate of Water Resources in Tartus have completed repairs on a 700 mm fault on the main MPL 2-1 line in the village of Al-Jamasa, part of the Western Canal section, to improve water supply for 400 hectares of farmland in the villages of Al-Jamasa, Al-Hamidiyah, and Arab Al-Shati.

These works are part of the directorate’s efforts to keep government irrigation networks ready and ensure continuous water supply to the benefiting agricultural lands.
