Removing a blockage from the Ghadeer Al-Bustan network to improve irrigation water stability for farmland
The maintenance workshop at the Quneitra Water Resources Directorate carried out the removal of a blockage from the Ghadeer Al-Bustan network on a 300 mm line, after part of the line became clogged, which helped reopen the channel and restore the smooth flow of irrigation water within the network.
These works are part of the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of irrigation networks to ensure the continuous water supply to agricultural lands and support farming activities during the season. The technical treatment contributed to securing irrigation water for an area of over 300 dunams planted with summer crops and fruit trees.
The Water Resources Directorate continues its regular maintenance work on irrigation networks to improve the efficiency of the water system and preserve the resources allocated to serve the agricultural sector.
