The rehabilitation works include:

* Constructing concrete sections in the damaged areas.
* Reinforcing and maintaining the cross sections of the channels.
* Rehabilitating field intakes and equipping them with metal gates.

In addition to constructing and maintaining service culverts and water bridges.

These works help improve transport efficiency and ensure the smooth flow of water to reach farmers' fields, irrigating an area of about 1060 hectares benefiting 50,000 people, as well as reducing water loss and rationalising its use to support agricultural activities, strengthen farmers' resilience and stability, encourage them to hold onto their land, promote the return of displaced residents to the area, improve living standards, adapt to climate changes, and ensure optimal use of water resources for sustainability.
