Rehabilitating a water line that serves over 300 dunams in the southern Quneitra countryside
The workshops of the Directorate of Water Resources in Quneitra carried out the removal of a blockage in the 'OZ' line located northeast of the town of Ain al-Tina in southern Quneitra countryside, and rehabilitated it to ensure the return of water to the benefiting lands.
The line serves an area of over 300 dunams, and the water had been cut off since 2011, which limited its use for irrigating agricultural lands.
These works are part of the directorate's efforts to reactivate stopped irrigation lines and networks, improve the efficiency of the water resources system, increase the use of available water sources, and support agricultural activity in the area.
The directorate's workshops continue maintenance and field treatment work to rehabilitate irrigation networks and lines across different parts of the governorate.
