In accordance with the directives of the General Authority for Water Resources, work is underway to ensure the readiness of irrigation facilities for the upcoming season.

The Water Resources Directorate in Homs Governorate has begun receiving the delivery of spare pipes for the Al-Muzayna and Tell Hawsh irrigation projects in the Talkalakh region. These projects irrigate an estimated 6,245 hectares, contributing to the continuity of irrigation and the implementation of emergency maintenance to meet crop needs.

The Directorate is also continuing to provide support for reinforcing the embankments in the rural areas of Aleppo and Idlib by deploying the necessary engineering equipment.

The Directorate affirms its commitment to continuing to implement its plans to provide optimal service to farmers.
