Parts of the maintenance work for Mahardah Dam completed by Heckscher Eber Organization have been received.
The Water Resources Directorate in Hama has received the maintenance work carried out on the Muhardah Dam by the Hecks Eper organization, in the presence of Mr. Hudhaifa Khateeb, Director of Water Resources in the governorate, and Ali Khalaf, the relations officer in the Muhardah area, as well as Musab Diab, a member of the Executive Office for the Agriculture Sector.
The completed work included maintenance of the arch gates and backup gates, replacement of the lower outlet, along with a number of electrical and mechanical works related to the dam’s operation system.
During the ceremony, attendees emphasized that this achievement reflects the result of fruitful cooperation between the Water Resources Directorate and Hecks Eper, praising the joint efforts that contributed to rehabilitating the dam’s critical facilities, ensuring its efficient operation, and serving the stability of irrigation while meeting the needs of the farmers and residents benefiting from its water.
