Ongoing work on bank drainage and road leveling in the Akkar plain

The staff of the Directorate of Water Resources in Tartous continue the dredging work of the Sahl Mi'ar – Al-Qubaybah canal, which stretches from the area around the Al-Alamiya Mill in Sahl Mi'ar towards Al-Mantar, reaching its outlet at the Fifth Canal, covering a length of about 2.5 km. The aim is to improve water flow and reduce bottlenecks.

Work is also ongoing to level the road along the MC10 canal as part of the groundwater wells project, in addition to carrying out work on the shoulder of Canal 1_MD4.
