In order to maintain the regularity of irrigation cycles and ensure equitable water access for all farmers, the Latakia Water Resources Directorate continues its field campaigns to address violations and remove all encroachments that impede the efficiency of irrigation networks or affect service stability.
As part of these efforts, technical teams removed an encroachment on the third branch of the sixth network in Al-Sarsakiyah, installing a new 50 mm diameter pressure relief valve in its place, thus restoring the network to its proper working condition.
The Directorate affirms that the campaigns to address violations will continue without exception, and that protecting irrigation networks and safeguarding the water rights of all beneficiaries will remain a non-negotiable priority.
