Monitoring the status of water resources and water quality in a number of channels and dams.

In this context, the Water Resources Information Center carried out the collection of water data from monitoring points across several locations, including the Jeb Hassan wells, Janata, Al-Qanjara junction, Burj Al-Qasab, Al-Maqati', Ras Shamra, the port, Al-Bayda, and the Euphrates River, aiming to update the data and monitor water indicators at these sites.

The Water Quality Monitoring Division in the Integrated Management Department also conducted a field tour to the northern dams area, where water samples were collected from the Al-Qanjara, Karsana, Khirbet Al-Jawziya, and Al-Jawziya dam lakes to track water quality and carry out necessary tests.

The division continues its work in the chemical and bacteriological laboratory by analyzing samples taken from various sites, helping assess water resource quality and improve monitoring and follow-up procedures.

These efforts are part of the ongoing monitoring of the water resources situation in the governorate and aim to enhance the efficiency of monitoring systems, supporting sustainable water resource management and safeguarding their safety.
