Marking the course of Wadi Sanin around the city of Nawa and removing encroachments in the stream and its surroundings.

The technical teams at the Daraa Water Resources Directorate, after coordinating with the Real Estate Interests Directorate, inspected the stream boundaries and the side buffer zone to deepen parts of this stream at its start in the Nawa area, remove some existing encroachments, clear stone debris and some concrete work resulting from the encroachments.

They also removed multiple dams and ditches and cut roads along both sides of the stream. The Sanin stream is considered one of the main streams in the Yarmouk basin, which eventually flows into the Adwan Dam lake.

This comes as part of preparing and deepening the waterways to prevent future blockages, prevent flooding on nearby agricultural lands, and reduce encroachments on these streams and their buffer zones.
