Maintenance work to protect the pumps and ensure continuous pumping in Deir Ezzor Governorate

Boosting the readiness of the Seventh Sector Station.. Maintenance work to protect pumps and ensure continuous pumping  
Maintenance workshops at the pumping stations affiliated with the Deir Ezzor Water Resources Directorate continue their technical work to increase the readiness of irrigation stations and enhance the efficiency of their equipment. Maintenance and rehabilitation work was carried out at the Seventh Sector Station, covering a number of important technical, mechanical, and electrical tasks.  
 
The work included:  
- Installing an internal and external lighting system for the station, which improves working conditions and safety during operation and maintenance tasks.  
- Preparing the check valve site and installing it to protect the pump basement from being flooded, especially when the Euphrates River rises.  
- Dismantling and repairing the main shaft of the first screw in the lifting station and putting it back into service.  
- Setting up oil cooling circuits for the main gearboxes of the pumping units, which helps improve operating efficiency and maintain the safety of mechanical equipment.  
 
These activities are part of the directorate’s ongoing efforts to maintain and rehabilitate pumping stations, raise their technical readiness, ensure their continuous operation, efficiently deliver irrigation water to agricultural lands, and preserve the irrigation system while serving farmers in the region.
