Maintenance of the Chass Pumping Station that irrigates 300 hectares of the Akkar Plain lands
The technical workshops at the Directorate of Water Resources in Tartous carried out comprehensive maintenance work on the motors of the Shass Pumping Station to ensure their readiness and efficiency during the irrigation season.
The work included maintenance of three motors with a capacity of 30 kW each, ensuring the continued effective operation of the station, as each pump has a flow rate of 110 liters per second.
The Shass Pumping Station irrigates about 300 hectares of agricultural land in the Akkar Plain, making this maintenance an essential step to support the agricultural sector and ensure that irrigation water reaches farmers on time according to the irrigation schedule.
