Continuing maintenance and rehabilitation work on irrigation canals in the third sector of Deir Ezzor
The maintenance workshops at the Water Resources Directorate in Deir Ezzor – Third Sector continue to carry out maintenance and industrial work on irrigation canals in parts A and B, including repairing siphons, cleaning risers, and maintaining field intake structures on irrigation lines, which contributes to improving the efficiency of the irrigation network and ensuring smooth water flow.
These efforts are part of ongoing initiatives to preserve water resources, reduce waste, and ensure that irrigation water reaches agricultural lands as needed, supporting the continuity of farming activities and improving the efficiency of irrigation water use.
