Dredging and maintenance work continues on the main channels within the Mashqita Dam networks in the Badmiyoun area, in addition to the main open channel in the Jandariyah area, as part of the Latakia Water Resources Directorate's plan to improve the efficiency of irrigation networks and ensure the smooth flow of water.

In the Badmiyoun area – Mashqita Dam, dredging work was carried out on the main channel (MC1) using specialised machinery, supported by manual work in sites inaccessible to machinery, under the supervision and follow-up of specialised engineering staff.

In the Jandariyah area, dredging work was carried out on the main open channel (1-1C) using suitable machinery, with the removal of dredging output, under the supervision of specialised technical staff.

These works are part of the directorate's ongoing efforts to maintain the readiness of irrigation networks and enhance their efficiency in a way that serves the agricultural reality in the region.
