Latakia Water Resources Directorate: Putting out a fire near the Kafr Dbeil Dam structure

A fire broke out near the body of Kafr Dabil Dam, where the dam workers immediately started dealing with the fire and trying to control it until the firefighting team from Jableh Emergency Directorate arrived.

The firefighting teams were able to completely extinguish the fire and carry out cooling operations, which helped secure the site and prevent the fire from spreading.

The Lattakia Water Resources Directorate extends its thanks and appreciation to the firefighting teams at Jableh Emergency Directorate for their quick response and field intervention, and to the dam workers for their efforts in the initial handling of the fire until the firefighting teams arrived.
