The Water Quality Monitoring Division of the Integrated Management Department conducted a meticulous and comprehensive field tour in the northern dams axis in the countryside of Latakia, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance monitoring of water resources and ensure their safety and sustainability.
The tour included collecting water samples from the Kanjarah, Karsana, Al-Jawziyah and Khirbat Al-Jawziyah dam lakes, with the aim of subjecting them to specialised laboratory tests, assessing water quality and monitoring any potential indicators of pollution or changes in qualitative characteristics.
This monitoring is part of a regular supervisory programme aimed at improving the efficiency of water resource management and enhancing the protection of its sources, ensuring their sustainability and safety for various uses.
