Installing a three-piece castellated structure on the Nissaf Wadi riverbed to improve service connectivity
The Water Resources Directorate in Hama, in cooperation with the local community, has completed the installation of a reinforced culvert with three openings on the course of the Kharbat Nisaf River in the Masyaf area. The aim is to improve the connection between the village and the agricultural lands and to facilitate the movement of residents and vehicles.
The culvert consists of three openings, each one meter in diameter and six meters long. The work was carried out under the supervision of the technical staff at the directorate and in coordination with the Nisaf Municipality, according to an engineering design that takes into account the river’s drainage and its capacity during flood seasons.
The culvert helps provide safe and smooth crossing for citizens and vehicles between the riverbanks, enhancing safety conditions, maintaining continuous movement, supporting service connections, serving the residents, and giving access to agricultural lands.
