The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues to implement its technical programme for maintenance and dredging works at several vital sites in Latakia Governorate, aiming to enhance water drainage efficiency.
The works included dredging the main open channel (1_1C) in the Jandairiya area over a length of 50 metres, cleaning the premises of Pumping Station (PS7), as well as dredging two culverts in Hakrou village belonging to Wata al-Khan municipality.
These works are part of a regular operational and maintenance plan aimed at increasing the readiness of water facilities and improving the technical performance of irrigation networks in the region.
