The technical workshops at the Directorate of Water Resources in Tartus have completed rehabilitation works for Pumping Station No. 15 in the village of Samka, which is part of the groundwater wells project, aiming to raise the station's readiness and ensure the stability of the pumping process.
The works included lifting, maintenance, and reinstallation of two submersible pumps with a diameter of 4 inches for the first and second wells, ensuring improved pumping efficiency and continuity of regular water supply.
The station provides irrigation for agricultural lands in the areas of Samka, Samrian, and Al-Ziyadah, contributing to improving irrigation conditions and supporting the agricultural sector.
