Homs resources continue supplying irrigation water in the Talkalakh area
The Water Resources Directorate in Homs is supplying the Talhoush and Mazinah Dam projects in the Tal Kalakh area with water to meet the irrigation needs of crops and trees over an irrigated area of 6,000 hectares, benefiting around 45,000 people.
Technical teams, in coordination with water user associations and guidance units, distribute water according to irrigation schedules. Meanwhile, maintenance crews handle emergency repairs, replacing and fixing pipes, gaskets, valves, sluices, and gates with high readiness to ensure continuous water supply.
These efforts help increase the productivity of the area, reduce water waste, mitigate the effects of high temperatures, and sustain water resources.
