High irrigation rates in Belloran and Daruqiyat networks
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia announced the results of irrigation operations in the Bellouran Development Networks and the Darouqiat Unit, which for the first time in years showed high and stable rates in most areas.
In the Bellouran project during the sixth cycle, the irrigation rate reached 100% in most networks, covering the areas of Bellouran, Harajiya, Zaghrin, and Zaghrin-Al-Sarsakiya. The areas of Al-Qafr Al-Dhamat, Wadi Qandil, and Al-Qafr recorded an 80% rate, highlighting a noticeable improvement in operational performance.
In the Darouqiat Unit during the third cycle, the irrigation rate reached 100% in the Shabtalia-Ain Al-Bayda area, while technical teams continue to monitor the remaining networks in Darouqiat, Al-Aqaba, Ain Al-Bayda, Haret Beit Zidan, and Ain Alwan to complete operations according to the approved plans.
These results reflect real progress and high efficiency in network management and confirm the directorate's commitment to increasing irrigation rates and making the best use of water resources.
