Fixing two malfunctions on Tal Hosh networks to enhance the irrigation stability of 308 hectares in the Akkar plain

The staff of the Directorate of Water Resources in Tartous completed repair work on two irrigation line faults within the Tel Housh networks, helping to improve the stability of water supply to about 308 hectares of farmland in the Akkar Plain.

The work included repairing a fault on a 200 mm asbestos line in the village of Ransiya by installing a stainless joint, serving an area of 48 hectares, as well as fixing another fault on a 600 mm asbestos line in the village of Kherbet al-Akrad, which serves 260 hectares.

This work helps reduce water waste and improve the efficiency of irrigation water delivery to the benefiting farmlands.
