Extensive cleaning of the manhole cover on Canal (A) next to the manhole tank in Idlib governorate

The Water Resources Directorate continues to carry out the construction of an overflow at the Bal'a dam on channel (A), next to the Bal'a reservoir, to drain large amounts of water during the rainy season and prevent water levels from rising and accumulating in agricultural lands.

The overflow also helps improve water management and safely and efficiently drain excess water, boosting the readiness of the water system to handle heavy rainfall, supporting the ongoing work in the Sahel Rouj project and protecting agricultural lands and water facilities in the area.
