Enhancing water readiness by restoring the Ain Smak stream in the Quneitra countryside

The Water Resources Directorate in Kenitra carried out desilting and cleaning works on the Ain Essamak watercourse in the village of Alhales in northern Kenitra, aiming to improve water flow and address bottlenecks and obstacles within the watercourse, contributing to enhancing water preparedness and maintaining the service reality in the area.

The works included the removal of sediments and obstacles from the watercourse as part of the routine monitoring plan for water channels, supporting preventive measures, preserving environmental and service safety, and helping protect agricultural land and improve the water situation for residents.
