Emergency maintenance work has begun on the Al-Lour/Sari’a canal in Al-Jarbu’ village, Raqqa Governorate.

The dredging of a 250-meter-long drainage canal in Al-Jazira was also monitored, and six dams that were causing damage to agricultural lands were removed. Additionally, the dredging of the agricultural research canal in Kasra Faraj village, totaling 500 meters, was completed.
 
Regarding pumping stations, work continued at the Al-Yamamah station, where the lighting system was fully repaired.
 
The fourth circuit breaker unit was repaired and maintained, and the insulation level of both the fourth motor and its feeder cable at the Bir Al-Hashim main station was tested before the unit was put into service.
The second unit at the Al-Sahl station was disassembled to inspect its damaged parts and subsequently repair them.
The directorate continued to implement the irrigation programs required by the irrigation sectors in all projects.
The weed screens at all pumping stations were cleaned of vegetation and suspended aquatic debris.
