Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia: Dredging and road-opening works to enhance the service reality in Rabi'ah Subdistrict
The works included carrying out earth erosion stabilization and opening the spring road in Al-Khadra village in the Rabeea area, which contributed to rehabilitating the road and facilitating the movement of residents and vehicles, especially in areas affected by accumulated soil and landslides.
The installation of 450 mm diameter culverts on the Um Al-Tuyoor – Al-Uisawiya road was also completed, using the Baker mechanism, aimed at improving rainwater drainage and protecting the road from potential damage during the rainy seasons.
The directorate confirmed that these works are part of a periodic maintenance plan aimed at enhancing the efficiency of road networks and water facilities, and improving the level of services provided to citizens in various rural areas.
