The most important works of the Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia Governorate

As part of its annual plan to maintain main and secondary irrigation networks, the Latakia Water Resources Directorate has begun cleaning irrigation canals. This includes cleaning a 60-meter stretch of the main canal at elevation 50 and a 250-meter stretch of the main canal at elevation 80 in the Jableh irrigation network.

These works are being carried out to ensure the smooth flow of water and to prevent blockages and water losses during the irrigation season.
