Deir Ezzor Water Resources Directorate – Third Sector Keeping up and fixing water lines to get ready for the winter farming season
Maintenance workshops in the Water Resources Directorate in Deir ez-Zor – Sector Three, continue carrying out maintenance and rehabilitation work on several water pipelines, as part of preparations for the winter agricultural season and to ensure efficient irrigation water delivery to farmland.
The work included replacing the sinking fittings of the water main, along with replacing seals and gaskets, addressing several water lines, and correcting their levels, all of which help improve performance and ensure safety.
The work also involved surveying the road parallel to the major branch using a bulldozer, aiming to improve the road conditions and facilitate movement to and from work sites.
These efforts are part of ongoing initiatives to enhance the readiness of the water network, maintain the integrity of the lines, reduce water loss, and ensure optimal delivery to farmlands, supporting agricultural activities and contributing to a successful winter farming season.
