Controlling a fire near the Khabouria station in Latakia
The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia reported a fire breaking out in the agricultural lands near the PS3 Khabouria station. Firefighting backup was immediately requested, and fire crews began operations to extinguish and control the fire.
With the help of the station personnel, the firefighters managed to control the fire, while cooling operations continued to ensure the flames were out and to reduce the risk of them reigniting.
The Latakia Water Resources Directorate extends its thanks and appreciation to the firefighters and Khabouria station staff for their quick response and efforts in controlling the fire and protecting the station, facilities, and surrounding lands.
