Continuing to secure irrigation water and starting the third watering cycle in Kafr Dabil and Al-Hweiz networks

The Latakia Water Resources Directorate is keeping an eye on the irrigation system across different sectors. This morning, in coordination with Jableh's sub-irrigation committee, the Kafr Dabil dam gate was opened, kicking off the third irrigation cycle in its networks, making sure the farms get the water they need.

At the Howiz project, pumping from the Howiz station continues around the clock through a single pump at a rate of 0.5 m³/s, while the Howiz dam gate on the main canal remains open at level 80.

The irrigation water has now reached Branch Seven and its divisions, with technical teams monitoring the water flow and maintaining even distribution to keep the irrigation stable and get the most out of the available water resources.
