Continuing to monitor the irrigation situation and securing irrigation water for the agricultural areas in Mashqita.
The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues to monitor irrigation conditions in the Mashqita area, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure that irrigation water reaches the agricultural regions that need it, and to achieve the best possible use of the available water resources.
According to the approved irrigation schedule, the irrigation work covered several areas, most notably: Sanjouan, Saqoubin, Baksa, Janata, Setmarhou, Al-Amrouniya, Roudou, El-Yaghnesa, Ain Al-Laban, Al-Jandariya, Al-Jurimiqiya, Jabrion, Al-Damat, Al-Bassa, Setkheirs, Qabarsiya, Badmiyoun, Al-Shir, Al-Harsh, Rouisa, Bardeekha, Samandil, Mukhtariya, and Khariba.
This goes hand in hand with the continued efforts of technical staff to monitor irrigation conditions on the ground, oversee the operation of water facilities, and address technical difficulties and malfunctions, all of which help improve water distribution efficiency and meet the water needs of crops.
