Continuing the irrigation cycles in Al-Huweiz dam networks and improving water distribution efficiency

The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to carry out the irrigation programme from the Hawiz Dam along the line stretching from M26 to M1, according to the approved operational plan for the agricultural season, ensuring that water reaches the farmland in the villages of Hawiz, Ras al-Ain, Al-Amiriya, Bustan Al-Jami', Hara Beit Ma'arouf, Hara Beit Jaloul, Al-Barjan, Al-Buq'a and the Sukhaba junction.

Irrigation in these areas has shown noticeable stability thanks to daily monitoring of irrigation cycles and water distribution, which has had a positive impact on the agricultural season.

Alongside irrigation cycles, technical workshops continue preventive maintenance, cleaning of channels and waterways, and removing obstacles and sediments, while staying ready to respond quickly to any emergencies during the peak irrigation season.
