Continuing maintenance and rehabilitation work on irrigation and drainage networks

The teams from the Raqqa Water Resources Directorate continue maintenance and rehabilitation work.

In the second sector, major tasks included fixing leaks, filling, spreading and cleaning in the Mertaḥa channel at Al-Rajm, as well as maintaining, installing and raising several dams and sluices on the 26North, 22MF and 22MA channels. In the fourth sector, they maintained speed boxes at regulator 11, carried out temporary repairs on regulator 17's gate, and poured 30 m³ of concrete in the Lower Salhabiya Channel K11.

In the fifth sector, the main drain in Al-Dalha was deepened over 200 metres. Work continues to improve the readiness of irrigation and drainage networks, ensuring smooth water flow and servicing agricultural lands.
