Confiscation of an unlicensed excavator in Latakia to protect water resources
To protect water resources and reduce their depletion, and in accordance with the provisions of existing laws and regulations, especially the Water Legislation Law, the water patrol team at the Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia confiscated an unlicensed excavator during an inspection tour of well-drilling activities.
These measures are part of the directorate's efforts to curb random well drilling, preserve water reserves, and manage their use according to the applicable laws and regulations.
The directorate confirmed that it will continue its inspection tours and take legal action against violators, contributing to the protection and sustainability of water resources.
