Completing the rehabilitation work of the Al-Rouj South station
The Water Resources Directorate in Idlib Governorate continues to carry out the rehabilitation work of the Southern Al-Rouj Station, which provides irrigation water for the farmlands in the Southern Al-Rouj area, covering more than 525 hectares. This is part of preparations to put the station into service and ensure it’s ready to start irrigation during the next agricultural season.
The rehabilitation work is being carried out in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), as part of efforts to restore the irrigation infrastructure, improve its operational efficiency, and enhance the reliability of water delivery to farmlands, contributing to supporting the agricultural sector and promoting the sustainability of farming activities in the area.
