Engineer Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, Deputy Director General of the General Authority for Water Resources, conducted a visit to the Directorate of Water Resources in Tartus, accompanied by the Director of Mechanisms and Garages, Engineer Anas Haj Hamoud, with the aim of monitoring field performance and identifying the necessary requirements to enhance work efficiency.

The visit included reviewing the workflow in the directorate's departments and listening to the technical and administrative staff's observations regarding the main challenges and ways to overcome them in the interest of work.

The visit also featured a field tour with the Director of Water Resources in Tartus, Engineer Mohammad Muhrez, to several government irrigation projects, during which they inspected ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation works and assessed the readiness of engineering machinery operating at those sites.

Abdulaziz confirmed that this visit comes as part of the General Authority for Water Resources' follow-up on early preparations for the irrigation season, ensuring the provision of water needs for agricultural lands and supporting the agricultural sector.
